FEMAX is a wholesaler and showroom of bathroom equipment, heating and sanitary technology – it has 14 sales outlets and employs more than 140 people.
In wholesale, end-of-series and discontinued products are a common challenge. Such merchandise sitting in warehouses is fully operational and valuable. However, it generates additional storage or disposal costs for the company.
In response to FEMAX‘s business needs, we implemented a dedicated auction platform called SilentClicks – this provided a new sales channel for business customers, through which it is possible to effectively sell off unneeded products that cannot be sold through other methods.
In this way, FEMAX achieved a significant reduction in the costs of storing and disposing of goods lying in warehouses, as well as the satisfaction of customers who gained the opportunity to purchase full-value products on preferential terms. Annually, the company sells approximately 2% of its inventory in this way.
