Gemini.pl is a comprehensive health platform designed to support the well-being of your family. It was developed with the needs and convenience of patients in mind. The Gemini team is dedicated to assisting you in maintaining your well-being on a daily basis.

Challenge

The client found himself in a situation where an iOS mobile application ordered and delivered for testing from one of the vendors failed several times to meet the requirements. Each time, errors appeared at the interface between the app and the client’s website.

Solution

Due to the failure to deliver a functional product, the client decided to terminate the contract with the previous supplier and decided to outsource the task to the INNOKREA team. Our company’s role consisted of several stages and included:

An audit to see exactly what has been done and whether it can be completed within the specified time and budget
Correcting all errors of the previous contractor.
Integrating the solution with the client’s IT systems
Close cooperation between our development team and the client’s team.

To this end, it was crucial that the service www.gemini.pl was properly handled and displayed by the iOS application, including the following actions were necessary:

improving the UI/UX quality of the application,
fixing the application’s mobility mechanism,
improving the behavior of the application when the Internet connection is lost,
preparation of several versions of the application for different test environments,
preparation of the application for deployment in the AppStore (security form, graphics, promotional texts),
improving the performance of the application,
Improving the performance of the Application Analytics mechanism.

Due to the lack of delivery of a functional product, the client decided to terminate the contract with the previous supplier and decided to outsource the task to the INNOKREA. The role of our company consisted of several stages and included:

Indication of solutions on the client’s side regarding changes to the website code – so that the entire system architecture could work optimally.
Advising the client on marketplace solutions for the website.
Comprehensive re-creation (1:1) in the iOS app of the entire functionality of the website – including, most importantly, buying functions such as sorting, adding to cart, payment and shipping.

Business impact

In record time of just a few months after signing the contract, a working product was delivered by INNOKREA – a fully functional iOS application that passed all tests. A thing that the previous contractor could not achieve in a period of more than a year.

The effectiveness of the solution is confirmed by the fact that the application has already been downloaded tens of thousands of times from the AppStore in a very short time after publication. It measurably strengthens the online sales channel and complements the order stream from the website and Android application.
