Maria Skłodowska-Curie Primary School No. 400 in Warsaw
The Parents’ Council of Elementary School No. 400 organizes a family picnic at the school every year, during which funds are raised for various projects at the school. In 2025, the P’C decided to expand its fundraising efforts a bit and contacted local businesses with a proposal for them to collaborate and fund vouchers for their services, which the P’C then wanted to auction off among pupils, parents and staff at the school. The response was beyond our expectations and nearly 100 vouchers for more than 50 different services/products were received from generous donors.
The challenge however, was to organize the auction itself, as there is a lot going on during the picnic and the priority is to have fun and attractions for the children. Therefore, various shows and performances take place on the prepared stage and it is not the place to hold an auction of so many different vouchers.
The Parents’ Council turned to the company Innokrea – which owns the auction platform Silentclicks.com. The Innokrea’s team turned out to be a very helpful and flexible partner, thanks to which we were able to conduct auctions of all the bids online.
Silentclicks.com, is a simple and intuitive portal through which we can put up for auction various items and services, which are then auctioned by users. The types of auctions are different, it is possible to set the duration, the amount of overbidding, the starting price and easily edit the descriptions of the bids or their graphic design. And all this in an elegant, transparent form.
Innokrea helped us prepare a link for user registration, the Parents’ Council prepared information posters, which included a QR code for the auction, where nearly 90 families ultimately bid.
Thanks to concerted efforts, it was possible to launch auctions for more than 50 different bids (about 100 vouchers), which lasted for nearly 4 weeks, and thanks to them, nearly 5k€ were raised for the picnic goal. Given that this is only the first year that the school has decided to launch such a model of operation – it can be expected that in subsequent editions the result will be even better.
