Challenge

The main activity of Scheidt & Bachmann is focused on the development and implementation of technological solutions for transport services (including ticket machines, toll collection systems and many others). In its development strategy, the company decided to enter the e-commerce market.

Solution

INNOKREA has been developing its own auction system KUPTAM.PL (web and mobile application) for many years. Based on these experiences, as part of co-operation with Scheidt & Bachmann, a dedicated e-commerce platform was implemented on the Swiss market: SMARTDORF.CH

The platform allows purchases and sales to be made between local stores and residents of a given commune in Switzerland.

Business effect

The Scheidt & Bachmann concern has expanded its product’s offer and is able to reach a larger group of end customers. As part of the cooperation with INNOKREA, there was no need to invest huge funds to build an e-commerce solution from scratch – a significant part of the solution was prepared in advance.
